I'm a feminist living in Toronto and hoping to make some sort of tangible difference. I believe that many issues are intertwined with one another and therefore feminists should be worried about poverty, racism, gender, violence, freedom of speech, healthcare, class and all of those 'isms that infiltrate our daily lives whether we like it or not. Feminism means believing in self-determination: that everyone should have a chance to do what they want to with their lives. The way the world works today, most people do not have that ability. Feminists should strive to make that ability a reality. That's what I'm about and this blog is about.

...just wanted to say that I'm a long-time reader, feminist in Toronto glad that there are other women like me out there...LOVE this blog.
Hey... finally got the blog going like I said I would oh, a good, 6 months ago now!
To be sure it will be feminist in nature and orientation. I've also opened the blog up to a couple of friends (fellow Torontonians, actually) who will be posting as well. Hope to update fairly regularly but we'll see how it goes! Thanks for the go-ahead. Your blog takes the cake as my inspiration - keep up the great writing.
I see you don't post on here any more.

I am a white American male, and I hate white women. In a nutshell, white women are the most likely to cheat on you, to divorce you, to get fat, to steal half of your money, don't know how to cook, etc. Therefore, what intelligent man would want to get involved with a bitchy white woman?
White women are generally immature, selfish, and extremely arrogant and self-centered. The behavior of most white women is utterly disgusting, to say the least.
This blog is my attempt to explain why I feel white women are inferior to all other groups of women, such as Asians, Middle Easterners, Mexicans, Blacks, etc.

Hey, I know this isn't related to your blog topic..but I just created a petition against Bic's Soleil ladies razor campaign and I'm trying to get the word out. http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/Women-Arent-Objects/ I thought you would be a great contact to share this with.
I don't know if you've seen the poster but This poster depicts a 1950s pinup style cartoon of long-legged woman bending over in the grocery store, her mini skirt riding higher in the back, with a confident smile thrown in the direction of the viewer. "For legs that beckon." is the slogan written across the bottom.
This is my first petition, and the first time I've been affected enough by something to really want to make a difference. I would greatly appreciated your signature and any other support you can give me :)
